First Fish.

Yesterday we decided to be tough on Elisabeth and make her come out on the boat with us. For some reason she has been fearful of it and now was the time it had to stop. So picnic all packed in the esky and off we went.
The kids all helped to put the bait in the crab pots and I dropped them all out and then we went to one of Paul's frequently visited fishing holes. The poor bugger basically went from rod to rod re baiting hooks! Lachlan pulled the first 2 fish of the day, he is a keen fisherman and knows quite a bit about it all. Then the 3 girls all caught their first fish! As you can see in the photos, Ruby looks proud, as does Elisabeth, but honestly take a look at Lucy! She is just so happy and excited. All in all it was a lovely day and the kids were very well behaved. It tuckered little Lucy out though, she went home to a 3 hour nap, something that is non existent in this household now. lol!
